Itinerary
Upon arrival, we will pick you up from Kilimanjaro Airport and start our drive to
Arusha where you will spend the night at Ibrahim Garden Hostel.
Morning after breakfast at 8:30 am at the hostel, pick up and drive to Momela
Gate at Arusha National Park. After the registration with an armed ranger starting
climbing the mountain; through a long way to Miriakamba Hut. 5hrs trek. Colobus
monkeys, buffalos and friendly Giraffe can be witnessed along the way. Dinner
and overnight stay at Miriakamba Hut.
Early in the morning depart with packed lunch after breakfast to Saddle hut. 5 to
6 hours trek. Evening visits little Meru for the sunrise. Dinner and overnight stay
at Saddle Hut.
Early hours at the morning after a cup of tea or coffee, (2:30am) depart Saddle hut to socialist peak 4556 matters. After the sunrise, start descend down to Miriakamba Hut via Saddle Hut for breakfast. Dinner and overnight stay at Miriakamba Hut.
Morning after breakfast, continue descending down to Momela Gate, 3 hrs walk. Arrival and waiting car will be there ready for transfer back to Arusha city.
