Serengeti National Park

The Serengeti National Park is one of Africa’s most iconic wildlife destinations and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, renowned for its vast open plains, incredible biodiversity, and the world-famous Great Migration. Covering approximately 14,750 square kilometers (5,700 square miles) in northern Tanzania, the park is home to millions of wildebeest, zebras, gazelles, and an abundance of predators, making it one of the best safari destinations in the world.

Visitors to the Serengeti can experience unforgettable game drives throughout the year, with opportunities to see the Big Five—lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhinoceros—as well as cheetahs, hyenas, giraffes, hippos, crocodiles, and over 500 bird species. The park’s diverse landscapes include endless grasslands, rocky kopjes, riverine forests, and acacia woodlands, each supporting a wide variety of wildlife.
